An annual event marking Remembrance Day on behalf of Mayor of London, London Assembly and the City Hall branch of Royal British Legion. This year’s event pays special tribute to the 75th anniversary of Normandy Landings and the Battles of Imphal and Kohima and commemorates the members and officers of London government organisations who died on active service in the two World Wars and other conflicts.

The service takes place 10:40am – 11:40am on Friday 8 November 2019 at City Hall.

The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, and Chair of the London Assembly, Jennette Arnold OBE, AM, will be joined by London Assembly Members, Greater London Authority staff, representatives from London Government and public service organisations, and members of the Armed Forces to commemorate those who served and lost their lives in the two World Wars and other conflicts.

The service will be led by The Revd Canon, Michael Rawson, Sub Dean and Pastor of Southwark, with an address given by The Most Revd John Wilson, Archbishop of Southwark.
