Venue: Wembley Park

The ZEE London Mela, now in its 14th year, is an established highlight in the capital’s cultural calendar, an artistically led celebration of Asian culture and creativity, inspired by South Asia and the diaspora. It is one of the only melas in the country to champion new work, and it provides a platform for emerging British artists as well as bringing traditional and classical art forms to a wider audience.

Critically acclaimed, the ZEE London Mela introduces the best in classical music, British Asian urban artists, dance, comedy and cabaret, Asian-influenced street theatre and circus, as well as exhibitions. And, with a third of the audience from non-Asian communities, it is a truly intercultural family event with something for every generation of every community.

This year, ZEE London Mela will take over Wembley Park for the first time presenting a free festival in a day featuring British Asian and international artists across two major stages, complemented by the mouth watering Tastes of Asia Food Market and bursting with heaps of exciting and colourful entertainment for the whole family.

Wembley Park is the new home of the ZEE London Mela!

Wembley Park is the development by  Quintain which is transforming the 85-acre (34 hectare) area around Wembley Stadium and The SSE Arena, bringing new homes, shopping, leisure facilities and public spaces to create a major new destination and neighbourhood for London.

Wembley Park welcomes millions of people every year to enjoy world-class entertainment and sporting events and is an outstanding retail and leisure destination which provides visitors with a day out like no other.

James Saunders, Wembley Park's COO said “We are delighted to be hosting ZEE London Mela this year. Celebrating Wembley Park’s vibrant and diverse cultural heritage is an important part of our ethos. Along with new homes and business opportunities, it is what makes the area such an exciting place to live and visit. With such a vast range of entertainment, food, and activities, we can’t wait to build on the previous success of ZEE London Mela. It's certainly going to be an event to remember.”

Wembley Park is extremely well connected with two overland train stations (nine minutes to Marylebone), two tube stations (20 minutes to the West End) and excellent road links to motorways including the M1, M40 and M25. There are also over 3,000 on-site parking spaces (see below for details).
