This event is organised by Friends of Burgess Park

Join Friends of Burgess Park to planting native hedge plants at three locations along Surrey Canal Walk between Glengall Wharf Garden and the first bridge - Willowbrook.

We will be planting 200 whips from the Mayor's community tree packs with TCV, including hawthorn, blackthorn, common dogwood, dog rose and hazel. All of these plants are great for wildlife; insects, birds, butterflies. moths.

Take public transport to Trafalgar Avenue off Old Kent Road. Meet at Glengall Wharf Garden, 64 Glengall Road, SE15 6NF at the east of Burgess Park.
