This event is organised by TCV and Friends of Russia Dock Woodland
TCV and Friends of Russia Dock Woodland are organising a hedgerow tree planting day during National Tree Week. Continuing the work of our volunteers, we will be planting a new hedgerow alongside a newly created wildflower meadow. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn how to plant trees, meet the volunteering group and get involved in making a difference for the environment and the community. Everyone is welcome!

What to Bring
Participants only need to wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear. Tools and refreshments will be provided. Feel free to bring a packed lunch if you wish.
Accessibility
Access to Russia Dock Woodland is step-free. Entrances can be found at Redriff Road and Downtown Road and via the Stave Hill Ecology Park.
Finding the Event
Meeting point is at the SHED in Stave Hill Ecology Park, located behind Bacons College, Timber Pond Road In Rotherhithe, London SE16 6AX. Activity is taking place in Russia Dock Woodland , Salter Road, SE16 next to Redriff Road entrance.
Canada Water station is around 10 minutes walk away from the meeting location.
