The rise of youth climate activism has been a political game-changer.

Putting a practical spin on #FridaysforFuture, the student-MP climate action surgery, initiated by legislators network GLOBE International, puts students in the driving seat, asking: what does the climate emergency mean on the ground? How is my community affected and what is my local MP doing about it?

This event turns the traditional Friday surgery into a platform for political education and citizenship, empowering students to ask questions that affect them directly about climate change and how to raise political ambition. It builds on educational engagement with schools leading up to London Climate Action Week initiated by GLOBE International in collaboration with World's Largest Classroom and London Sustainable Schools Forum.
