This mini-conference will reflect on urban living and the opportunities that are being created in taking positive steps to mitigate climate change and improve our social wellbeing. Technology, innovation and citizen engagement are key. The mini conference offers discussion on various facets of the smart and sustainable city, such as renewable and sustainable sources of clean and affordable energy; transport, waste, sustainability, health, social, culture and heritage; technology, data and digital innovation; the built environment, building efficiency and infrastructure; the public, the private and the people.

An esteemed gathering of renowned experts from a wide range of sectors are giving their time and knowledge to share their views and experience in exploring how we can best develop smart and more connected cities using practical solutions to complex city problems and therefore reduce the risk of climate change. From AI, energy, engineering and European ‘smart’ projects, to the law, tax and investment, this event will inform on how the Public-Private-People can collaborate in achieving much needed innovation and policy to achieve clean, safe and sustained living.
