London's Environment Strategy presents ambitious commitments to cut greenhouse gas emissions in the sectors within the GLA's direct control and influence. However, the plan also highlights the great number of actions required by other stakeholders, whose control and influence extend into critical areas where the GLA does not hold power. Arup and C40 have undertaken cutting edge research to quantify the consumption-based emissions of cities in the C40 network. This event will present the findings of this work, exploring London's consumption-based emissions and the implications for reaching the city's net-zero target. Speakers will be drawn from the GLA, C40, Arup and key business sectors. A round-table workshop will form part of the event.

Registration is essential for entry. RSVP to [email protected].
