This London Climate Action Week find out how YOUR environmental project could receive up to £2000 from Veolia London's Recycling Fund for Communities.
Come visit our Southwark Recycling Facility, where you can see what happens to plastics and other recyclables after collection, learn more about the Recycling Fund for Communities, hear from our crowdfunding partners Spacehive, and talk to Veolia’s team about getting your project funded as well as getting other kinds of support such as equipment or volunteers.
There will be two sessions on the day and those with projects that help protect the environment in London or Watford is eligible to attend. Places are limited, so be sure secure your preferred time by registering for a ticket now!
- Session one is from 2:30pm to 4:30pm
- Session two is from 5:00pm to 7:00pm
About Veolia's Recycling Fund For Communities:
Veolia's Recycling Fund for communities supports grassroots projects that protect the environment and encourage people to do the right thing with their waste. Eligible projects could receive a cash boost of up to £2000, in kind resources or staff volunteers, and raise even more money by crowdfunding on Spacehive. To be considered, your project must demonstrate one of the following:
It’s use of recycled, reused or reclaimed materials
The ability to protect and preserve resources or enhance local environments
A positive focus on plastic waste

Please note: While everyone is welcome to attend the event, for safety reasons children, people with mobility impairments and anyone with a pacemaker cannot go on the tour. Long trousers and closed flat shoes must be worn. All other safety equipment will be provided.
