Stadium and flowers
Created on
26 September 2018

Bosses of the London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC) will appear before the Budget and Performance Committee tomorrow to explain the dire financial performance of the London Stadium. It lost £20 million in 2017/18 and at no point in the next ten years will it perform better than a loss of approximately £13 million.

The committee will also look at the East Bank project which will host new sites for Sadler’s Wells, BBC Music and University College London.

The guests are:

  • Lyn Garner, Chief Executive Officer, LLDC
  • Gerry Murphy, Executive Director of Financial, Commercial and Corporate Services, LLDC

The meeting will take place on 27 September at 10am in the Chamber at City Hall (The Queen’s Walk, London SE1).

Media and members of the public are invited to attend. The meeting can also be viewed via webcast. Follow us @LondonAssembly and take part in the discussion using #AssemblyBudget
