The Mayor has projected that the Greater London Authority (GLA) will lose £493 million in business rates and council tax income across 2020-21 and 2021-22.

Tomorrow, the Budget and Performance Committee will question the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan on the GLA Group Budget for 2021-22. This is the fifth and final meeting of the London Assembly’s review of the GLA Group Budget following the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the GLA’s finances.

The meeting will take place on Thursday, 22 October 2020 from 10.00am. This meeting will take place in a hybrid format, with some Members participating virtually and some participating in person, in accordance with Government advice and requirements on social distancing.
