The Mayor has recently proposed a Council Tax rise (Band D increase of £20 in each of the next three years) to help fund Transport for London and has also included a £10 increase in additional funding for policing within his draft budget.
Londoners paying the Band D Council Tax rate will pay an extra £31.93 on average in 2022-23 compared to the previous year.
What will the budget mean for vital services for Londoners, like transport and policing?
How will potential increases in Council Tax and transport fares impact the lives of Londoners?
