The London Fire Commissioner is required to publish a plan that sets out how to improve public safety, reduce the number of emergency incidents, and save lives.
The London Fire Brigade (LFB) has been engaging with Londoners to create the draft Community Risk Management Plan (CRMP) – a strategy and delivery plan to keep London safe.
‘Your London Fire Brigade’ will be the London Fire Brigade’s strategy from 2023 to 2029.
What will the London Fire Brigade look like in 2029? And how will it respond to emerging and future risks like climate change, population change, and security and resilience?
The London Assembly Fire, Resilience and Emergency Planning Committee will meet tomorrow to discuss the draft CRMP and understand how effectively the Brigade has engaged with communities.
The guests are:
- Fiona Dolman, Director for Transformation, LFB
- Jonathan Smith, Assistant Commissioner for Fire Stations, LFB
- Dave Shek, Executive Council Member, Fire Brigades Union
- Kimberley Gordon, Peer Mentor and Advocate, HoardingUK
- Moira Kerrane, Trustee, 2000 Community Action Centre
- Dilowar Khan, Director of Finance & Engagement, East London Mosque & London Muslim Centre
The meeting will take place on Tuesday, 5 July 2022 from 10am, in the Chamber at City Hall, Kamal Chunchie Way, E16 1ZE.
Media and members of the public are invited to attend.
The meeting can also be viewed LIVE or later via webcast or YouTube.
