What mechanisms are in place for ensuring that buses switch their engines off when parked at a depot? I have received reports of buses failing to switch their engine off when parked, which causes pollution and distress to the local community.

Are you aware that despite works being recommended by 2 separate CRISP studies, by different (TFL approved) independent consultants, Transport for London have decided not to implement a vital toucan crossing on the A316 at Parkshot - the intersection of 2 LCN+ routes?

42 bus route

There has been some debate about altering the route of the 42 bus to include a stop at the supermarket on Dog Kennel Hill so that less able shoppers don't have to walk as far, nor cross the busy Dog Kennel Hill on foot. Has Transport for London considered instead allowing the 484, which already goes past the supermarket, to divert, stopping there in both directions?
