The London Ambulance service is currently transporting many patients for non emergency appointments to hospital. In the interests of value for money and efficiency, will the Mayor explore the possibility of trying to act as a champion of shared services in regard to improving transport services for the disabled? Will the Mayor encourage all the London boroughs, London Councils and Transport for London, to come together to look at streamlining this transport service?
