In 2009 you established the London Debt Strategy Group (LDSG) to address problem debt issues following the financial crisis and hosted a debt summit in 2010. A number of indicators suggest that debt could become a more significant problem in London in future years, particularly among young people and for mortgages holders when Bank of England interest rates eventually rise. Will you therefore consider reconvening the LDSG?

In previous written responses you have noted that GLA officers are supporting "Toynbee Hall, Capitalise Debt partnership and other debt advice charities to help ensure continued funding from the Money Advice Service, help analyse client data, promote free debt advice services and access to alternative sources of finance in the capital".
