Thank you for your commitment to liaise with the Living Wage Foundation to look into collecting data on low pay and self-employment. There are concerns that the Living Wage Foundation does not yet collect this data for employees let alone the self-employed. I am sure that you will agree that with detailed up to date data, we can fully understand the scale of the issue facing London and how best we can assist. Can you tell me when the Living Wage Foundation will start to collect robust data on this issue?

Maternity rights is becoming an increasing issue and in a report earlier this year, the Equality and Human Rights Commission found that over three-quarters of pregnant women and new mothers - the equivalent of 390,000 women - experience negative and potentially discriminatory treatment at work each year, an increase since 2005. How will you, in your role as Mayor of London, help to tackle this important issue?

According to data from the Child Poverty Action Group (CPAG), London has seen a 51 per cent surge in use of bailiffs for council tax debts. This includes over 19,000 low income, sick and disabled Londoners were referred to bailiffs in 2015/16.
