At the October 2016 MQT, in response to a question from Nicky Gavron, the Mayor said “We are giving expertise now in relation to viability [and] we should be thinking about giving help in relation to environmental issues. In order to achieve zero carbon or Level 5 of the Code for sustainable homes, tall residential towers may have to be designed more imaginatively in the future. How will you seek to achieve this in the London Plan?
