With an increase in the numbers of people being admitted to hospital for mental health problems caused by drugs ( https://www.getwestlondon.co.uk/news/west-london-news/mental-health-pro…), how does the Mayor foresee Thrive LDN working specifically to reach out to people and communities affected by these issues; in a way that empowers people to get the help they need?

Fuel poverty and elderly people

  • Reference: 2018/0915
  • Question by: Onkar Sahota
  • Meeting date: 22 March 2018
As you rightly pointed out in the draft Health Inequalities Strategy, 10% of households in London are in fuel poverty, and I applaud your commitment to reduce the impact of fuel poverty on vulnerable Londoners, such as elderly people, through the excellent Mayor's Fuel Poverty Action Plan. • Meeting date: 22 March 2018
Further to MQ 2018/0277, Network Rail announced that they plan to scrap all toilet charges at all of its national rail toilets from 2019. They state that it is "quite wrong to penalise people when they are in discomfort". Will you ask TfL to consider scrapping the charges at the 15 stations on the TfL network which still charge to use the toilet facilities?

TfL Refunds

  • Reference: 2018/0912
  • Question by: Joanne McCartney
  • Meeting date: 22 March 2018
A constituent has asked me to ask why it takes TfL 14 working days to process a refund? This seems a long period of time for someone to wait, especially if the refund is for a large amount such as an annual travelcard.

  • Meeting date: 22 March 2018
The recent alleged poisoning of Sergei and Yulia Skripal in Salisbury has again illustrated the danger our first responders often face when serving the public. It is reported that DS Nick Bailey was seriously injured after coming into contact with a toxin whilst investigating this case. What (new) guidance is given to Metropolitan police officers who may be faced with a similar case, and has this been reinforced in recent days?
