Zero Emission Taxi Sales

  • Reference: 2018/1424
  • Question by: David Kurten
  • Meeting date: 21 June 2018
A recent FOI disclosure revealed the projected figure of 9000 ZEC Taxis by the end of 2020 was a result of a submission by the LTDA made on historical licensing figures, and made prior to Uber's entry into the market & the huge rise in PHVs. Given that average annual sales of taxis in recent years were only 1,500, will you review the unrealistic projected target for sales of 9,000?
