Period Poverty

GLA research has revealed that 17% of women in London aged 16-24 say they have faced period poverty. In addition, 30% of young women say they have had to change to using a less suitable sanitary product due to cost. Can the Mayor set out his plans to ensure that no women in London has to experience the indignity of period poverty?

Healthy Workplace Charter

The London Healthy Workplace Charter was designed to provide clear and easy steps for employers to make their workplaces healthier and happier. To date only 207 organisations have been accredited. This is a disappointing figure given the huge number of employers in London. Can the Mayor tell us what action he is taking to promote the Charter and monitor its success?
