Exploring Universal Basic Income in London

Economy, Culture and Skills Committee – The Chamber, City Hall, Kamal Chunchie Way, 10am

The Economy, Culture and Skills Committee will meet to understand the benefits and drawbacks associated with a Universal Basic Income (UBI) – payments made to all people without a means test or work requirement. 

Members will hear from a panel of guests that are supportive of the idea of UBI, with the second panel made up of guests who take a more sceptical view. The guests are:
