Affordable Housing Monitor
Housing Committee
Under the Affordable Homes Programme (AHP) 2021-26, the Greater London Authority (GLA) must start between 23,900 and 27,100 homes by March 2026 and most completions must take place by March 2030. Up to the end of March 2024, 1,777 homes had been started.
The London Assembly Housing Committee will publish its annual Affordable Housing Monitor, which tracks the progress the Mayor is making against the capital’s targets.

Dentistry in London

In the second of a two-meeting investigation, the London Assembly Health Committee will examine which groups of people are disproportionately impacted by oral health inequalities and what preventative measures are in place across London to address these inequalities. Questions will include:
- How widespread poor oral health is in London and which groups of people are disproportionately impacted.
- What preventative measures are being taken to support the oral health of adults and children, including the promotion of oral health in schools.
- What action needs to be taken by the NHS and health partners in London to ensure all Londoners can access an NHS dentist and support good oral health.

Affordable Housing

The London Assembly Housing Committee will meet to discuss the findings of its annual Affordable Housing Monitor, which tracks the progress the Mayor is making against the capital’s targets.
Guests from the Greater London Authority, local councils and other experts in the sector will be asked to respond to the new findings and set out what is needed to provide Londoners with the affordable homes they need. The guests are:

Net Zero
Environment Committee – The Chamber, City Hall, Kamal Chunchie Way, 2pm
In the first of a two-part investigation, the Environment Committee will meet to examine the steps the Mayor is taking to build action to achieve his goal of reducing emissions in London to net zero by 2030.
