Q&A with the Deputy Mayor
Police and Crime Committee – The Chamber, City Hall, Kamal Chunchie Way, 10am
The Police and Crime Committee will meet to question the Deputy Mayor for Policing and Crime on the Met’s ability to safely store and collect evidence.
The Committee will also question the Deputy Mayor about online radicalisation, the Met’s recruitment pathways and the Met’s Culture, Diversity and Inclusion Directorate. The guest is:

Prison leavers accessing employment
Economy, Culture and Skills Committee – The Chamber, City Hall, Kamal Chunchie Way, 2pm
The number of people being released from prison in London rose by 5 per cent in the year to March 2024, increasing from 9,070 to 9,520.
The Economy, Culture and Skills Committee will meet with charities and a prison service representative to understand the challenges prison leavers face when seeking employment. The guests are:
