Changing Chairs - Assembly starts new year
In its first meeting of the new term, the London Assembly has today elected a new Chairman and Deputy Chair for the year ahead.
New Chairman of the London Assembly, Andrew Boff AM said:
“My heartfelt thanks go to Lord Duvall of Woolwich OBE AM for Chairing during the very special 25th Anniversary year.
“In the year ahead, the London Assembly will continue to hold the Mayor to account on issues that matter most to Londoners.”
Lord Duvall of Woolwich OBE AM has been elected as the new Deputy Chair.
The Assembly also agreed the Membership and Chairs of a range of Committees to lead investigations into issues ranging from public transport to the Mayor’s budget.
