2. Green Energy Together UK (GET UK) went into voluntary liquidation on 6 July 2023 and were the only STL installer to have done so. This affected STL customers in all 32 boroughs on two phases of the five-phase programme. We do not hold data on how many boroughs had customers with partial installations at the time of liquidation. With the exception of Lambeth, GET UK customers in each London borough were part of an extended phase of STL as a result of their initial installations being incomplete. These customers were provided with alternative installers.
3. As above, GET UK were the only STL installer to have gone into liquidation. There were STL customers in every London borough which originally had GET UK appointed as their installer.
4. Up to £1.3million was provided by the GLA across all phases of STL. This supported marketing, promotion, customer acquisition, customer support, training and employment opportunities, and programme closedown.
5. All STL customers received either a completed installation or a refund. All STL customers paid upfront deposits of 25% to their respective installer. Those who had paid a deposit to GET UK were assisted with claiming it back via Section 75 or Chargeback. Customers who were not able to recover their deposits via these means were reimbursed by the GLA through iChoosr, STL’s delivery partner. These refunds amounted to circa £226,000.
