Old Oak Neighbourhood Area proposed extension

Community event in Old Oak Park Royal

Key information

Publication type: Consultation

Start date: Monday 13 September

End date: Monday 25 October 2021

We are carrying out a consultation on the proposed extension to the existing Old Oak Neighbourhood Area that has been applied for by the Old Oak Neighbourhood Forum. You can view a map of proposed extension below.

The public consultation runs from 13 September until midnight 25 October 2021. We want the consultation to be inclusive, accessible and useable, so there are a range of ways to find out more and provide comments.

Online consultation platform

You can access our online consultation platform at any time across the six-week consultation to view the application consultation documents and submit comments.

Other ways to have your say or view paper copies of consultation

We appreciate that not everyone prefers, or is able to use the internet for public consultation, so paper copies of the application consultation documents are available at the following local locations:

  • Brent Hub Community Enterprise Centre, 6 Hillside, London NW10 8BN
  • The Collective, Nash House, Old Oak Lane, London NW10 6FF.

You can also submit feedback, request printed copies of the consultation documents or ask the team questions by emailing [email protected], posting to OPDC, City Hall, The Queen’s Walk, London SE1 2AA, calling 020 7983 6520 or making use of the secure feedback boxes at the above locations.

We offer translations, Braille or audio format for all of the consultation documents upon request.

Next steps

The consultation closes on 25 October 2021 and your responses will be used to help inform planning officers’ recommendations to OPDC’s Planning Committee and Board.

OPDC’s Board will determine the application to extend the Old Oak Neighbourhood Area and we’re envisaging that this decision will be made by early December 2021.
