The London St Patrick's Day Festival, now approaching its 17th year, attracts more than 125,000 people to events across London and to the parade and festival in central London and Trafalgar Square. It's become a destination event showcasing the best of Irish food, music, song, dance, culture, and arts.
This year’s theme is #LondonIsOpen. Join us in the festivities on Sunday 17 March as the parade sets off at midday from Piccadilly. The Trafalgar Square festival runs from 12pm - 6pm.

Kick starting the London St Patrick's Day festival, the Regent Street Cinema will be showcasing a selection of the finest new Irish short films. This year's theme is Diversity and Inclusion, inspired by the #LondonisOpen campaign.

Where the String Broke (Irish Camden Town): From getting the start, going to the dance, finding a doss or just having a drink - Camden Town could claim to be the capital of Irish London. Discover ball rooms, pubs, churches, hostels and the characters that gave this amazing place its vibrant Irish reputation for so many decades. Lumpers, Impresarios, navvies, writers and musicians populate this fascinating walk. Meet at Camden Town tube station (Kentish Town Road exit).
THE EMERALD CITY: Where better to celebrate Irish heritage and achievement than on the streets of London. On this stroll down Ludgate Hill, along Fleet Street, into the Temple and finishing in Covent Garden we will discover some amazing Irish connections and encounter some of the great names of the Irish past. Stopping at pubs, churchyards, statues, courthouses and theatres - Irish London will come to life. Prime Ministers, politicians, press barons, poets, playwrights, revolutionaries and aristocrats will all have their part to play in this amazing story. A fierce craic altogether! Meet at the main steps of St Paul's Cathedral.

For quite a number of years Kíla have been presenting their kids show in theatre’s throughout Ireland. Always jam packed, this hour long show has the kids interacting with the music from the very start.

St. Patrick's Day Parade
Time: 12pm
Location: Green Park to Trafalgar Square
Entry: Free
The London St Patrick's Day parade is now in its seventeenth year and attracts over 50,000 people lining the streets from Piccadilly to Trafalgar Square. Full of elaborate floats, marching bands, sports clubs and Irish dancing schools from across the UK, Ireland and the USA, this parade combines community organisations and professional pageantry. The procession makes its way down Piccadilly, on a 1.5-mile (2.4km) route.

Irish Cultural Centre - Four Men and A Dog in Concert
Time: 7.30pm
Five of Ireland’s most exhilarating master musicians blend vivacious high energy Irish ‘trad’ with Southern rock, rap, jazz, gypsy, blues, blue grass, polka, county swing, and even salsa. Their live shows are a fast and infectious musical force. Featuring Ireland’s foremost fiddle player Cathal Hayden, ‘the God of the bodhran’ Gino Lupari, along with the wizard Donal Murphy (on accordion), the brilliant Kevin Doherty (vocals and guitar), and the amazing Gerry O’Connor (fiddles, banjo and mandolin.) Four Men and a Dog are a major international ‘sell out’ stadium act.
