Abimbola's story
Hub: Lewisham College Hospitality Hub
Abimbola is a former learner who completed the Level 1 Introduction to Hospitality course at Lewisham College and progressed into employment.
Abimbola successfully transitioned into full-time employment following her participation in a five-day work experience opportunity at Spaghetti House. During her placement, she consistently demonstrated a positive attitude, strong timekeeping and a proactive approach to her responsibilities. These qualities led to her being offered a permanent role as a kitchen porter.
Abimbola has expressed a clear ambition to progress within the hospitality sector. The role has laid a strong foundation for her career aspirations.
