Health Inequalities Strategy

Plenary - 2.00pm in The Chamber

London Assembly Members will discuss the Mayor’s strategy to tackle inequalities in health in the capital and put questions to Sadiq Khan, Mayor of London.

The London Assembly will then consider its response to the Mayor’s Draft Health Inequalities Strategy and determine whether to use its power to reject the draft strategy.

Housing delivery vehicles

Housing Committee – 10.00am in The Chamber

The Housing Committee will discuss the opportunities and risks of London councils setting up local housing companies in order to build more housing. The guests are:

The Mayor’s Marketing Expenditure

GLA Oversight Committee – 3.30pm in The Chamber

The GLA Oversight Committee will examine the GLA’s marketing expenditure, its focus and its impact. The guests are:

The Police and Crime Committee will question the head of the Metropolitan Police about the terrorism threat and measures put in place to protect the public. Questions will also include tackling violent crime, policing at Notting Hill Carnival, the impact of Brexit. The guests are:

Social regeneration of neighbourhoods post-Grenfell

The Regeneration Committee will investigate how resident-led regeneration, with the help of the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea, can help communities recover from traumatic events, such as the Grenfell Tower blaze. Guests include:
