Response to Mayor’s Draft Housing Strategy

The Housing Committee today responded to the Mayor’s Draft Housing Strategy. In its response the Committee warned the Mayor that his housing targets need to be more ambitious and more needs to be done to tackle overcrowding, homelessness and rough sleeping. Bus Seminar:

The London Assembly Transport Committee has made 9 recommendations to TfL to ensure it addresses the challenge of rising demand for bus travel. More Londoners want to travel by bus but there are no plans for major expansion of the bus service to meet this increasing demand. On Wednesday, the bus seminar will take place at City Hall where members of the Transport Committee will discuss the issues with TfL buses, London Councils and Travel Watch.
