News from Unmesh Desai: Statement on crane collapse in Bow

In response to the collapse yesterday in Bow of a 20 meter crane that killed one person and injured four others, local London Assembly Member, Unmesh Desai AM, said:

“I’m shocked and saddened by the incident in Crane Close in Bow. My sincerest condolences go out to the family of the individual who sadly died, and I hope for a full and swift recovery for the four others who were injured.

“The emergency services deserve our thanks for their fast and decisive intervention. There will undoubtedly be lessons to be learned going forwards so that an incident like this cannot happen in future.”
