Forty Hall Farm is an organic farm in the Forty Hall Estate. It has a variety of animals, including rare breeds and is home to London’s only organic commercial vineyard, a community orchard, a market garden and farm shop.
The London Assembly Environment Committee will visit Forty Hall Farm tomorrow for a unique insight into a working farm in London’s green belt.
The visit will include a roundtable discussion about the challenges and difficulties farmers face, in terms of produce prices, costs and labour and skills and a tour around the farm to see how it operates.
