Voices from the front line against violent crime

The capital’s murder rate continues to rise with 66 people killed this year so far, three of those in the last week.

The Police and Crime Committee has launched an urgent inquiry into violent crime in the capital to examine the reasons behind the rise and to look at what more can be done.

The committee has invited people working directly with communities to talk about their experiences of violence in London tomorrow at 10am. Guests include:

The meeting will take place on Thursday, 24 May 2018 from 10:00am in The Chamber at City Hall (The Queen’s Walk, London SE1).
