Wednesday 17 December

Mayor’s Question Time – 10:00am in the Chamber

The full Assembly will question Mayor of London, Boris Johnson on the following topics and more:

The impact of the Chancellor’s Autumn Statement on London transport

Whether the Mayor should call for the Metropolitan Police to introduce a register of stalkers

Spending on increased road capacity

The proposed Garden Bridge, post planning approval from Westminster and Lambeth councils.

Wednesday 17 December

Old Oak and Park Royal Mayoral Development Area

Extraordinary Plenary – 1.30pm in the Chamber

London Assembly Members will question the following guests on the Mayor’s proposal to designate a Mayoral Development Area covering Old Oak and Park Royal in West London:

Sir Edward Lister - Chief of Staff and Deputy Mayor for Planning

Victoria Hills, Director of the proposed Development Corporation for Old Oak and Park Royal

The Assembly will then formally consider those proposals.

The Assembly may reject the proposed designation of a Mayoral Development Area by a two thirds majority of Members present and voting. A formal motion to reject may be moved by any single Assembly Member during the meeting, and if seconded, will be considered and must be voted upon by the Assembly

Q&A session with MOPAC and the Met

Police and Crime Committee – 10:00am in the Chamber

The Police and Crime Committee will question:

Lord Adebowale, Chief Executive, Turning Point

Stephen Greenhalgh, Deputy Mayor for Policing and Crime

Craig Mackey QPM, Deputy Commissioner, MPS

The following subjects will be discussed:

Mental health and policing

Commissioning of victims support services

MOPAC’s Hate Crime Strategy

Budget

MOPAC’s new non-executive advisor on crime prevention
