The Garden Bridge Working Group wrote to TfL Commissioner, Mike Brown MVO today to reiterate its concerns with TfL’s processes following the Garden Bridge project.
Len Duvall OBE AM, member of the Garden Bridge Working Group said;
“The Assembly did an in-depth investigation into what went so wrong with the Garden Bridge project, and while TfL is not the only organisation who played a part, we want to ensure it has learned from its mistakes to prevent a similar loss of public funds.
“We are disappointed that TfL is using Pathway, an in-house project delivery framework, as the solution to the majority of issues identified in our investigation. As Pathway was already being used by TfL before the Garden Bridge project, this response does nothing to alleviate our concerns.
“It is disappointing that TfL appears to be reluctant to change any of its processes. Until it does so, the risk of losses from a project like the Garden Bridge happening again.”
