Statement from the Chair of the Planning Committee

Nicky Gavron AM, Chair of the Planning Committee, said:

“We welcome this new London Plan, as it is the most important strategic document the London Mayor produces. It’s clear we’re going to need new policies to face the capital’s new challenges.

The London Assembly is the key scrutiny body holding the Mayor to account on this and as such, our Planning Committee will be going through the detail in this document with a fine toothcomb, over the next 3 months.”
