Telling London’s story brilliantly is the role of London and Partners. Tourism and business links will be imperative in the new post-Brexit world and London and Partners (L & P) need to shore-up interest in what the capital has to offer.
At a full meeting of the London Assembly tomorrow, Assembly Members will discuss what steps London and Partners are taking to achieve this, with guests:
- Rajesh Agrawal, Deputy Mayor for Business and Chair, London & Partners
- Andrew Cooke, Acting Chief Executive, London & Partners
These topics and more will be discussed:
- Measuring the effectiveness of London & Partners
- An assessment of the impact that leaving the European Union will have on London
- Reassessing the L & P business model
- Promoting and supporting small businesses and grassroots culture in London
Following this, Assembly Members will submit motions on various topics.
The meeting will take place on Wednesday, 2nd November from 10.00am in The Chamber at City Hall (The Queen’s Walk, London SE1).
Media and members of the public are invited to attend.
The meeting can also be viewed via webcast.

- Full agenda papers.
- As well as investigating issues that matter to Londoners, the London Assembly acts as a check and a balance on the Mayor.
