At a full meeting of the London Assembly tomorrow, the newly elected Mayor of London will be questioned on a range of policing issues.
It is the first opportunity for Assembly Members to question the Mayor on his policing plans and the work of the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) since his election to office. The guests are:
- Sadiq Khan, Mayor of London
- Sir Bernard Hogan-Howe QPM, Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis
The following topics will be discussed:
- The future of the Metropolitan Police Service
- Policing challenges in London
- Diversity in the Metropolitan Police service
- Alleged assaults by Uber drivers
Following this, Assembly Members will submit motions on various topics.
The meeting will take place on Wednesday, 6th July from 10.00am in The Chamber at City Hall (The Queen’s Walk, London SE1).
