Holocaust Memorial Ceremony – (by invitation only) 10.45am for an 11am start, in the Chamber
This year’s Holocaust Memorial Day event at City Hall will, as in previous years, be a joint event between the Mayor and the London Assembly, and the Chairman of the London Assembly, Roger Evans AM, will host the event. The Holocaust Memorial Day Trust (HMDT) and the Holocaust Educational Trust (HET) have assisted in planning for this event.
The 2015 event coincides with two important historical anniversaries - the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau during the Second World War and the 20th anniversary of the Genocide in Srebrenica, Bosnia.
