Last year saw the highest level of homicides in the capital since 2009.
The Met Police is under pressure to deliver an excellent service amidst a turbulent financial and political climate.
With this backdrop, the London Assembly Police and Crime Committee will hold its first regular question and answer session of the year with the Metropolitan Police and the Mayor’s Office for Police and Crime.
Questions will cover:
- Sanction Detection Rates
- Tackling violence
- Mental health and policing
- Diversity in the Met
The guests are:

The meeting will take place on Thursday, 10 January 2019 from 10.00am in the Chamber at City Hall (The Queen’s Walk, London SE1).
