
Mayor & TfL Commissioner to answer transport questions
Since the COVID-19 pandemic, Transport for London (TfL) has negotiated four extraordinary funding packages with Government, through which TfL has been provided with over £4 billion of support. The current funding agreement is due to expire on 24 June 2022.
Tomorrow, at a Plenary meeting of the London Assembly, Members will put questions to the Mayor and the TfL Commissioner on the key challenges facing TfL:
- TfL Finances
- The impact of COVID-19 on London’s transport system
- The Elizabeth Line (Crossrail)
- Walking and cycling
- Tube and rail in London
- Bus services
- The Ultra-Low Emission Zone (ULEZ)
- Silvertown Tunnel
The guests are:
- Sadiq Khan, Mayor of London and Chair of Transport for London (TfL)
- Andy Byford, TfL Commissioner
The meeting will take place on Thursday, 9 June 2022 from 10:00am in the Chamber at City Hall, Kamal Chunchie Way, E16 1ZE.
Following the discussion, London Assembly Members will debate these motions.
