News from Florence Eshalomi MP (past staff): Low Emission Bus Zone will be introduced from Camberwell to New Cross

In response to the announcement that a new Low Emission Bus Zone will be introduced on the route from Camberwell and New Cross in 2019, cleaning up 380 buses taking this journey, local London Assembly Member, Florence Eshalomi AM, said:

“Local residents across Southwark are continually put at risk by the dangerously toxic air in our capital. I'm delighted to see City Hall bring forward this vital measure to clean up hundreds of buses that pass through our borough.

“We need these Low Emissions Bus Zones delivered in 2019. In taking urgent action now, we can start to make significant progress in cleaning up London's air”.
