The London Assembly’s Housing Committee will meet tomorrow to examine the impact of social housing estate renewal and refurbishment on tenants and leaseholders. As part of an ongoing investigation into the regeneration of social housing estates, the Committee will look at the extent of residents’ involvement in decisions to refurbish or demolish housing estates. The Committee will question the following guests,
- Lucy Musgrave, Director, Publica
- Chris Jofeh, Director and Global Buildings Retrofit Leader, Arup
- Sharon Hayward, London Tenants’ Federation
There will also be an opportunity for members of the public who wish to attend the meeting to contribute to the discussion. Thursday, 10 July from 2.00pm in Committee Room 4 at City Hall (The Queen’s Walk, London SE1). Media and members of the public are invited to attend. The meeting can also be viewed via webcast.
