Crossrail is one of Europe’s largest and most complex infrastructure projects. Once completed, it is set to bring huge benefits to the capital, Londoners and the South East of England. 1.5 million more people will be able to travel into central London within 45 minutes.
Tomorrow, the London Assembly Transport Committee will:
- Examine the key issues relating to the delivery of the remaining aspects of Crossrail, considering progress of Crossrail to date
- Assess the outcomes of Crossrail’s governance changes, including the financial implications for Transport for London (TfL) and understanding the role of Network Rail in the remaining aspects of the delivery of Crossrail
- Understand lessons learned from the Crossrail delivery programme
