Social Prescribing

Health Committee – 10.45am in Committee Room 5

The Health Committee will discuss social prescribing – a way of looking at providing non-clinical healthcare. It stems from the point of view that socio-economic factors have an influence on a person’s health. The committee will speak to a range of people who will talk about how social prescribing can improve the health of Londoners.

Affordable housing delivery

After the publishing of the Housing Monitor, the Housing Committee will look with more depth into how many affordable homes have been delivered in the capital so far, if it is truly affordable and how mayoral and government support will impact the number that are built.

The Future Status of EU Nationals

The EU Exit Working Group will examine the implications of a no deal and a deal scenario for Brexit on the one million EU nationals that live in London. Of the 5.7 million jobs in the London labour market, around 13% of these are held by people born in the EU.
