Town centres are important generators of life for local communities. However, many are now in ‘decline’, particularly in outer London boroughs since the financial crash in 2008.

Greater London Authority borrowing

The GLA Group plans to increase its borrowing by nearly 1 billion in 2017-18 and will have borrowed over £4 billion more by 2020-21
