Armed Forces Day Flag Raising Ceremony

10:00am – outside City Hall (beside Potters Field Park)

Chair of the London Assembly, Jennette Arnold OBE AM and Mayor Sadiq Khan will jointly host the annual Armed Forces Day Flag Raising Ceremony. They will be joined by representatives from the Army, Navy and RAF and attendees will include military charities, cadets and veterans, including members of the City Hall branch of the Royal British Legion and Chelsea Pensioners.

TfL Land

Housing Committee

TfL is one of London’s biggest land owners and plans to develop much of its surplus land for homes. The Housing Committee publishes a report and calls on the Mayor, TfL and boroughs to work together to get the best deal for Londoners from these assets.

The report makes a series of recommendations designed to ensure the expertise and knowledge is in place to maximise the affordable homes they deliver.

Mental health support for offenders

Health Committee – St Giles Trust, Georgian House, 64-68 Camberwell Church St, Camberwell, SE5 8JB – 2:00-4:00pm

The St Giles Trust is one of the largest charities working directly with offenders in London, helping people to reintegrate into communities following prison and supporting them with their housing, employment and health needs.

This visit will give Members the opportunity to meet with peer advisors (many of whom are ex-offenders), front line staff and service users.

This site visit is to support the work of the Health Committee on mental health support for offenders.
