GLA Annual Service of Remembrance
The Chamber, City Hall – 10:40-11:40am
The Annual Service of Remembrance commemorates the members and officers of London Government organisations, who died on active service in the two World Wars and other conflicts. The Sub-Dean of Southwark Cathedral, The Revd Canon Michael Rawson will lead the Service, with the Address given by the Bishop of London, The Rt Revd & Rt Hon Dr Richard Chartres. The London Assembly and the Mayor of London will be joined by senior representatives of London organisations, including the Metropolitan Police Service, Transport for London and the London Fire Brigade, as well as members of the Royal British Legion, Armed Forces and Reserves.

Domestic Energy & environmental implications of a third Heathrow runway
Environment Committee – 10:00am in The Chamber
In London 348,000 households - or 11 per cent - are in fuel poverty. Targets to reduce carbon emissions from people’s homes are currently not being met. The Environment Committee will hold its first public meeting to investigate what can be done to reduce fuel poverty and domestic carbon emissions. The guests are:
