Motorcycles account for just one per cent of journeys made in London, yet 27 per cent of people killed or seriously injured on London’s roads are motorcyclists.

In a follow up to its 2016 report, the Transport Committee publishes its review of any progress made in Motorcycle Safety in London: Update report’.

The Mayor’s Health Agenda Q & A

The Health Committee will question the Mayor’s senior advisors on the Mayor’s health-related activities including the role of the health advisors, progress on the development of the Health Inequalities Strategy and other mayoral health initiatives. The guests are:

The Mayor’s record on the environment and plastic use

Environment Committee – 10:00am in The Chamber

In the first section of the meeting, the Environment Committee will question Shirley Rodrigues, the Deputy Mayor for Environment and Energy on the Mayor’s environmental policies.

In the second part of the meeting, from 11:00am (approx.) the Committee will discuss the use of plastics, how we can reduce their environmental impact and promote the use of alternatives. The guests are:

How many Londoners live in overcrowded homes? The answer is not known and the Housing Committee will discuss the reasons why and what boroughs are doing to ease overcrowding problems. The guests are:
