Questions to the London Fire & Emergency Planning Authority (LFEPA)
Plenary – 10:00am in the Chamber

The London Assembly will hold a Q&A session with LFEPA. Topics will include:

  • LFEPA cuts and the safety of Londoners.

  • Proposed dissolution of LFEPA.

  • Impact of climate change on work.

  • New technology.

The guests are:

  • Gareth Bacon AM, Chairman of LFEPA.

  • Ron Dobson CBE QFSM, London Fire Commissioner, London Fire Brigade.

Following this, the Assembly will debate Motions on a number of different subjects.

Alcohol and its impact on policing London’s Night-Time Economy
Police & Crime Committee – 10:00am in the Chamber

The Police & Crime Committee will launch its investigation into the impact of alcohol on policing London’s Night-Time Economy. It will examine the levels of alcohol-fuelled crime and anti-social behaviour, and the demands it places on policing. The Committee will also discuss how licensing measures can help prevent crime and disorder. The guests are:

  • Jon Foster, Senior Research and Policy Officer, Institute of Alcohol Studies.

Mill Hill East & West Hampstead Intensification Areas
Regeneration Committee – 8:15am, Inglis Consortium Site Office, NW7 1SJ

The Regeneration Committee will visit Mill Hill East and West Hampstead Intensification Areas to understand the impact of Intensification Area designation on local regeneration and how development is progressing at both sites.

A Mayoral Manifesto for the Digital Economy
Economy Committee

The Economy Committee will launch its ‘Mayoral Manifesto for the Digital Economy’, which will call on the Mayor of London to address barriers affecting the growth of this sector, including poor broadband connectivity for SMEs, a lack of diversity in the sector and a significant shortage of skilled talent.
