Are we building the right sort of homes to help the housing crisis?

Tomorrow the London Assembly Planning Committee will continue examining details of the Mayor’s draft London Plan. In the first section of the meeting the Committee will discuss the Mayor’s evidence base used to justify the size mix of the 66,000 homes required in the London Plan. The guest is:

  • Dr Peter Kenway, Director, New Policy Institute

In the second section of the meeting, the Planning Committee will discuss London’s residential densities and how they can be managed. The guests are:

  • Duncan Bowie, University of Westminster
  • Dan Epstein, Principal Environmental Sustainability Officer, OPDC
  • Kimberley Hopkins, City of Westminster
  • Jacob Tong, London borough of Hounslow

The meeting will take place on Wednesday 18 July 2018, from 10.00am in Committee Room 5 at City Hall (The Queen’s Walk, London SE1).
